Meet our Legal Team
We set up ASK Legal LLP in 2010 with a vision to get back to the basics of providing a client based legal service.
We set about looking for good, honest and hardworking individuals who shared our vision to work in an environment where financial targets, office politics and general barriers to serving our Clients best, were not top of the agenda. Of course we needed to make money like any other business, but by ensuring our clients are more than just a number, keeping it local and genuinely getting to know our clients this has been a self-fulfilling by-product of our business, not the driver.
We had all, up until this point, worked for larger corporate firms with extensive structure and organisation, clearly defined roles and responsibilities. All of which are advantageous when training and learning the trade, well placed to encourage employees to work collaboratively and in a work dynamic.
We felt the important client facing role that has been diffused in many larger process orientated corporate firms needed to be revived.
For us, the structure of small business has proven to be a huge success and a much more flexible environment that everyone enjoys. Everyone contributes to our team, there is a real family feel to ASK Legal which we are intensely proud of. Our team are united in our passion and for our mission to have a human face to succeed. Our team has collectively grown into a team of self-starters, all company-focused with a desire to deliver a high quality service to our clients.
We look forward to meeting clients new and old and would welcome you to ASK Legal LLP
Malcolm & Marcia
Malcolm started his career with Hillingdon Borough Council and qualified as a solicitor in 1991. He then moved into a commercial residential practice and spent eight years as Head of Residential Property at a practice based in South Buckinghamshire prior to opening ASK Legal LLP.
Malcolm had a number of years experience in Wills and Probate which has been further developed within ASK Legal LLP.
Malcolm is married to Lynn and has two children, David and Lauren. Outside the office Malcolm enjoys swimming, golf and reading.
Marcia has at long last realised her ambition to run her own legal practice. The opening of this office has been the result of many years work tempered with a bit of luck. She joined forces with Malcolm Seers and together they have turned the ambition into a reality.
Marcia has worked in the field of conveyancing for twenty five years dealing with sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold. She has worked in small practices, large practices and even a large in house legal department during this time.
Marcia is married with three daughters. Outside the office Marcia enjoys cooking gardening and driving her 1979 Corvette.
Alison qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has worked exclusively in the area of Family Law since then. Alison specialises in divorce and separation, including the financial aspects of a relationship breakdown, children matters, domestic violence injunctions and issues concerning unmarried families. She also advises on pre marital/cohabitation issues.
Alison is committed to working to the Resolution Code of Practice which encourages a constructive and non confrontational approach wherever possible. She does not hesitate, however, to issue court proceedings where such an approach does not resolve matters or if urgent action is required. Alison can also refer clients to experienced mediators where appropriate and advise on legal issues whilst mediation is proceeding.
